Some love stories don’t need a large wedding to feel meaningful.

Cindy and Teasung celebrated their love with a beautiful and intimate ceremony in Downtown Dallas, surrounded by the people who mattered most to them. With their parents and pastors there as witnesses, they shared a simple but deeply meaningful ceremony that felt personal, warm, and genuine.

Their pastor led the ceremony and blessed their journey together, creating a quiet and emotional moment for everyone in attendance. There was something especially beautiful about how intimate the celebration was. Instead of a large crowd, it was simply about two people making a commitment to each other, surrounded by their family and faith.

After the ceremony, we headed out for their engagement portraits around Downtown Dallas.

Modern Downtown Dallas Meets a Vintage Feel

For Cindy and Teasung's portraits, I wanted to create images that felt both modern and timeless.

Downtown Dallas provided the perfect backdrop. The architecture, streets, and natural light gave us a mixture of clean modern backgrounds and older textures that worked beautifully with their style.

Cindy and Teasung also photographed incredibly naturally together. Their connection made it easy to capture genuine expressions and small moments between them rather than relying only on traditional poses.

The result was a collection of portraits that felt romantic without being overly posed—clean and modern at first glance, but with a subtle vintage character that gives the photographs a timeless feeling.

A Small Ceremony, A Meaningful Beginning

One of my favorite things about photographing intimate weddings is being able to focus on the moments that might otherwise be missed.

Cindy and Teasung's ceremony was small, but that didn't make it any less special. In fact, the intimacy of the day made every moment feel even more personal.

Their parents and pastors stood beside them as witnesses, sharing in a moment that marked the beginning of their life together.

There were no unnecessary distractions—just family, faith, love, and two people promising to walk through life together.

Capturing Their Story

After the ceremony, their engagement session gave us a completely different opportunity to tell their story.

We explored Downtown Dallas together, using the city as a backdrop while focusing on their relationship and natural interactions. From quiet moments to laughter and the way they looked at each other, every photograph was meant to feel like a reflection of who they are together.

Cindy and Teasung's session is a great example of the photography style I love most: documentary-inspired, natural, timeless, and slightly nostalgic.

I want couples to be able to look back at their photographs years from now and still feel the emotions they felt on that day.
